The Bhagawad Gita as you know is used by all inspirational speakers in their lectures and workshops to avoid stress and to increase our potential. It is a text that leads us gradually from karma khanda to gnyana khanda. It is the perfect text for people in all walks of life, of all ages and in any ashrama (brahmachrya, grahasta, vanaprasta and even sanyasa) to study. In Bhaja Govindam, Adi Shankara says that even studying a small portion of the Gita goes a long way in the path to bliss. The Upanishads are understood better if one studies The Gita first.
